Personal Growth Comes From Getting Out Of Your Comfort Zone
Personal Growth Comes From Getting Out Of Your Comfort Zone

True Growth Only Happens Outside Our Comfort Zone

Four Cornerstones of Health and Wellness

Engaging life as an adventure requires building an uncommon capacity in
our mind, our soul, our body, and our heart.

Learning how to get uncomfortable and grow in one of the wellness cornerstones takes life to another level every area of our wellbeing.

CULTIVATING PERSONAL ENERGY

  • Body

Our body is the primary way we experience and interact with the world. Depending on the level of our physical health we can either limit or expand how we experience life.

Our tools will nurture, challenge and connect with you with your body at a level only experienced by an uncommon few.

  • Spirit

We love to stoke the fire. We are all seekers because we know that to experience our spiritual connection is the ultimate taste of being alive. Everyone walks their own path but every path leads us to that unique and authentic spirit that rests in our soul, connecting with something much bigger.

Nature or Mother Earth is our best spiritual teacher. Our tools and ways of being provides a pragmatic spiritual experience that walks and talks in your daily life.

  • Mind

A challenged mind is a healthy mind. Just like our body, the mind needs to get uncomfortable in order to grow.

If we want to create our life as a work of art it takes an uncommon level of accountability focus, clarity and a passion to continually be uncomfortable.

We all need a challenging and supportive place where we can walk gently but powerfully?

  • Emotions

Everyone’s #1 goal in life is to “feel good” and whether or not we are aware of it every decision in life is driven by our emotions. The real juice is being able to step into our fears and doubts while having the awareness to be intentional rather than impulsive.

When we step out of our comfort zone and into our emotions we come face to face with ourself.

UNDERSTANDING OUR #1 GOAL IN LIFE

We can likely agree that the number one goal in anyone’s life is to feel good. Stop reading and sit with that statement for a minute. Question it. Is it true? Is there really anything else more important in your life than feeling good? Have you not been seeking to experience feelings of joy, confidence, connection, freedom, creativity, being engaged, adequate, being at ease and lighthearted, centered, blessed and present.

Like any goal or intention, once it has been placed on our heart it becomes our innate responsibility to achieve it. The difference with this goal is that it is the ultimate exercise in intelligent self care. As you are about to see, the only path to this particular goal is through an elevated health and wellness philosophy. and if we are committed to this work we can build capacity and become powerful in all areas of life. That is, if we are willing to get uncomfortable.

WHY WELLNESS IS SUCH A POWERFUL PATH FOR CREATING THE CAPACITY TO LEAD

You cannot take anyone where you have not been. The idea that wellness is the foundation of leadership isn’t commonplace. But if you can wrap your mind around the concept for the next ten minutes, you will come to see that it is a powerful path for creating the capacity to lead.

The lack of this strong foundation can also be traced to most of the problems facing society today. That is how effective it is.

To understand why the level of your health is so important to modern leadership we need to create clarity around what leadership actually is. To start you need to understand that it isn’t a position, especially a powerful one in government or a corporation. It isn’t a skill and it definitely isn’t management.

Leadership is the ability to lead. It isn’t to gain a title or certain income. Since these motivations are self serving they immediately exclude one from the leadership club. To lead means to be able to take someone and something from where they are now to some other place in order to enhance a situation or experience. In essence this means that the journey is one backed by a strong moral compass of doing the right thing since all of our actions affect humanity and our fellow man.

Leadership is an act and a way of being. It is void of any type of self seeking. Which comes naturally when one reaches heightened levels of spiritual and emotional well-being. It is the act of becoming whole and is extremely uncommon.

This type of wholeness is the foundation of leadership because self-leadership comes before organizational leadership. Without the ability to lead yourself you do not have the abilty to lead others. Although almost everyone tries. But we can do better.

THE REAL COST OF LOW MENTAL, EMOTIONAL AND PHYSICAL ENERGY IN OUR LIFE

When your energy reserves are depleted, everything suffers:

Mentally: Clear thinking becomes foggy decision-making. You default to reactive instead of intentional choices.

Physically: You rely on caffeine, sugar, and impulsive eating for convenience to keep going, which creates an energy crash cycle.

Emotionally: You have less patience, empathy, and resilience for life's inevitable challenges.

Relationally: You show up distracted and depleted for the people who matter most.

Spiritually: You lose touch with your deeper sense of purpose and meaning.

The dangerous part? This becomes so normal that you stop noticing it's happening. Especially if you see everyone around you on the same treadmill. This is the result of the driven and comfort seeking lifestyles. We need to be vigilant as both are powerful forces that we are surrounded by and they will constantly try to sneak into our way of being. Which is why we need to the awareness to distance ourselves from them at all times with lifestyle rooted in next level self care.
